Yada yada... it's a great compliment to your lens inventory, particularly if you just have the kit lens. The results are sharp and clear and the f1.8 really helps capture pics that the kit lens could only dream about! The photos I've taken have turned out well and I am loving the bokeh effect. Nice colors and I didn't have to photoshop anything. The reason I am giving it four stars is because it feels a bit tight when placed on the camera. This will not be a lens that csnnot be cracked around, but I don't do this with any of my lens, I'm extremely careful no matter what my investment. I think as long as you are careful this lens should give you years of good service. One note of caution, DO NOT try to manual focus this when on autofocus, the directions state this and I think I know the reason; the focal lenght is so short you can strip the gears. I am posting a couple of photos taken with this lens see the Coleus and pink flowers. Can't wait to use it for the reason I purchased it, portraits. I'll add more when I use it for that. On an added note, the price I paid stated this was a lens and an Accessory Kit......did not receive...
